Secaucus Police Blotter, March 20 - March 26

A car was broken into while parked in the LA Fitness parking lot; a Jersey City woman has been charged with using the stolen credit cards:

SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On March 20 at 12:56 p.m., in relation to a car burglary that occurred on March 10 in the parking lot of the Secaucus LA Fitness, Secaucus Police arrested a 42-year-old woman, Isabel Santos of Jersey City and charged her with two counts of Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:21-6H], two counts of Theft by Deception [2C:20-4A], two counts of Conspiracy to commit Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card [2C:5-2A(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Burglary [2C:5-2A(2)]. Ms. Santos was taken into custody at Secaucus Police headquarters. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On March 22 at 2:55 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious individual in the area of 1520 Paterson Plank Road. During the investigation, the police arrested a 28-year-old male, Ariz Wirth of Hammonton, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $1,500 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $1,500 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $750 with a 10% option, 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $500 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Atlantic City, NJ in the amount of $500. Atlantic City Police did release Mr. Wirth on his own recognizance pending a future court date and he was released from police custody.

On March 23 at 3:12 p.m., in furtherance of an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Department Detective Division in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred on March 3 at the Kohls, police arrested Frank Rodrigues, 37, of Kearny and charged him with shoplifting. Rodrigues was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On March 23 at 3:14 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Hudson County Superior Court in Jersey City to take into custody Tajron Edward, 40, of Jersey City, for one outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $750. Mr. Edward was unable to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On March 24 at 4:48 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 34-year-old male, Eduardo Binet of Bloomfield, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Union County Sherriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Binet was additionally issued 2 motor vehicle summonses. Officers from the Union County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters to take into custody Mr. Binet for transport back to their agency.
