SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:
On March 23 at 3:15 a.m., officers from the Washington Township Police Department transported Jalil Marcus, 31, of Williamstown, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ with no bail. The warrant was issued for the charges of Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)] in relation to a shoplifting incident that occurred at Marshall’s on 09/15/2025. He was issued his complaint warrant and transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On March 23 at 2:47 a.m., the Secaucus Police Dispatch received a phone call from an individual who made threatening statements. During the investigation, the police responded to the Extended Stay Hotel located at 1 Meadowlands Parkway and arrested Yelena Rukhadze, 48, of Jersey City, NJ for Terroristic Threats [2C:12-3A]. She was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On March 23 at 11:36 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Union Police Department to take into custody a 33-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $5,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail for the involved warrant and was subsequently released from police custody.
On March 24 at 9:28 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 44-year-old man Alexander Santana-Diaz of Paterson, NJ for Forgery [2C:21-1A(3)] and Falsifying Temporary Registration Certificates [2C:21-4.9D]. He was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.

On March 24 at 7:32 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 31-year-old man of Carteret, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Union Beach, NJ in the amount of $1,500. He was able to post bail, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.
On March 25 at 12:53 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 27-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Passaic, NJ in the amount of $1,000 and one outstanding warrant issued out of Union City, NJ in the amount of $750. He was able to post bail for both and was released.
On March 25 at 10:25 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the area of the Santander Bank located at 1322 Paterson Plank Road on a report of an individual who had exposed his genital area. During the investigation, the police arrested a 29-year-old man, Dominick Robinson of Hamilton, NJ for Lewdness [2C:14-4B(1)]. Police say he was exposing himself to bank employees. Robinson was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $2,500, along with 1 outstanding warrant issued out of North Bergen, NJ in the amount of $500. On March 25 at 5:48 p.m., Secaucus Police took into custody of Shaun Katchula, 21, of Secaucus, Kyle Garcia, 21, of Secaucus, Steven Vega, 19, of Secaucus and Jack Lees, 20, of Secaucus. All four were wanted on warrants for aggravated assault charges in Hoboken, with no bail. On March 26 at 7:48 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle stopped in the right lane of Rt. 3 east. The driver was found to be slumped over the steering wheel. Police arrested a 32-year-old man of Newark, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. He was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released into the custody of a responsible adult.
On March 26 at 3:18 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 32-year-old man of Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Carteret, NJ in the amount of $750. He was able to post bail for the warrant, was issued two motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.
On March 26 t 4:15 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Newark Police Department to take into custody a 45-year-old man of Staten Island, NY for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus in the amount of $10,000 with a 10% option. He was unable to post bail and was transported to the Hudson County Jail.
On March 26 at 9:26 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 48-year-old man, Alexander Tinoco of Jersey City for Possession of a Prescription Legend Drug [2C:35-10.5E(1)] believed to be Fluoxetine Hydrochloride. He was issued a summons to appear in court and was released.
On March 27 at 1:08 p.m., Secaucus Police took custody of a 26-year-old man of Union City, NJ, who had been arrested and transported to Secaucus Police HQ by the Hudson County Sheriff on an outstanding warrant for $2,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail and was released with a summons to appear in court.
On March 27 at 3:16 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to a hotel under construction at 300 Plaza Dr. on a report of trespassing/burglary. Upon arrival, officers located and arrested a 31-year-old man, Marcus Reed of Mount Laurel, NJ. Reed was charged with Burglary (2C:18-2A(1)), Theft (2C:20-3A), and Unlicensed Entry of a Structure (2C:18-3A). He was released on a summons to appear in court.
On March 27 at 5:02 p.m., Secaucus Police were dispatched to the local Home Depot on a report of multiple men concealing merchandise and shoplifting. The men had left the area prior to police arrival. Shortly thereafter, while on routine patrol in the area of 1320 Paterson Plank Rd., Secaucus Police located four men matching the description of the shoplifters. A motor vehicle stop was conducted, at which time a 35-year-old man, Alex Mayorga-Chimbo of New York, NY, began to resist detainment and arrest and struck a Secaucus Police Officer, said police. Additional units arrived and arrested Eduardo Maldonado-Aguirre, 39, of Newark, Carlos Corte-Guanquiz, 33, of Corona, Queens, NY and Carlos Syu, 24, (non-domicile). Maldonado-Aguirre, Corte-Guanoquiza and Syu were all charged with Shoplifting and (2C:20-11(B)2) and Conspiracy (2C:5-2(A)1), placed on complaint summonses, and released from custody pending court. However, Mayorga-Chimbo, in addition to the charges of Shoplifting (2C:20-11(B)2) and Conspiracy (2C:5-2(A)1), was also charged with Aggravated Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer (2C:12-1B(5)(A)), Resisting Arrest by Force (2C:29-2A(3)(A)), Obstruction by Force (2C:29-1(A)) and Criminal Mischief (2C:17-3(A)(1)). He was issued a warrant to appear in court and booked at the Hudson County Jail.
On March 29 a 31-year-old man, Rodney Mason of North Bergen, NJ, responded to Secaucus Police HQ to turn himself in on multiple outstanding NCIC warrants. One of these warrants was issued out of Secaucus on 03/20/2026 for (2) counts of Aggravated Assault (2C:12-1B(6)), Hindering Apprehension (2C:29-3B(4)), Eluding, (2C:29-2B), and Resisting Arrest (2C:29-2A(2)). The second warrant was issued of out of Allenhurst, NJ. Mason was transported to the Hudson County Jail without incident.
On March 29 at 11:34 p.m., Secaucus Police took custody of a 31-year-old man of Jersey City, NJ, who had been arrested and transported to Secaucus Police HQ by the Jersey City Police Department on multiple outstanding warrants out of Secaucus totaling $5,000 with a 10% option. He was able to post bail and was released.
