Secaucus Police Blotter Nov. 16-Nov. 21

SECAUCUS, NJ — Police officials in Secaucus announced they had made the following arrests over the past week involving a number of criminal offenses:

On 7:35 p.m. on Nov. 16, Secaucus Police responded to the Hilton Garden Inn located at 875 Route 3 East on a report of possible credit card fraud. During the investigation, the police arrested a 25-year old female, Dondria Naieem of Baltimore, on an outstanding warrant issued out of Clifton, NJ in the amount of $100. Naieem was further charged with possession of a fraudulent government document. Ms. Naieem was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

At 11:26 a.m on on Nov. 20, following an investigation conducted by the Secaucus Police Detective Division regarding an incident that occurred at AJ’s located at 201 Secaucus Road on Nov. 5, officers arrested a 44-year old male, Joseph Pisa of Weehawken, NJ, for false public alarms and calling 911 without needing 911 service. This arrest was made at Secaucus Police Headquarters. Pisa was served his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

At 8:50 p.m. on Nov. 21 during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 24-year old female, Demani Johnson-Best of Hillside, NJ on outstanding warrant issued out of Newark, NJ in the amount of $250.00 with a 10 percent option. Johnson-Best was also charged with hindering apprehension for providing false information to the police. Johnson-Best was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued her complaint summons along with six vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

These charges are merely accusations and the defendants is presumed innocent until proven guilty.
