SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Oct. 23 at 11:20 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 37-year-old male, Todor Ginevski of Elmwood Park, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)]. Ginevski was also found to have 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail along with 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Passaic County Sherriff’s Office with no bail and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Paramus, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Ginevski was issued his complaint summons and was subsequently transported to the Bergen County Jail.

On Oct. 24 at 8:12 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 43-year-old male, Luis Marin of East Newark, NJ for 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Woodbridge, NJ in the amount of $1,000. Marin was able to post bail for the involved warrant, was issued 1 motor vehicle summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 24 at 1:10 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 55-year-old male, George Mendez of Port Monmouth, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued by the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mendez was issued 1 motor vehicle summons. Officers from the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mendez for transport back to their agency.

On Oct. 25 at 2:05 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the La Quinta Inn on a report of a noise complaint and individuals causing a disturbance. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32-year-old male, Mario Calvache of Newark, NJ for Robbery (Armed) [2C:15-1A(2)], Robbery (Strong Arm) [2C:15-1A(1)], 2 counts of Possession of a Weapon for an Unlawful Purpose, a knife [2C:39-4D], Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5D], Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(1)], Aggravated Assault [2C: 12-1B(2)], Simple Assault [2C:12-1A(1)] and 2 counts of Theft [2C:20-3A]. Calvache was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 25 in an ongoing effort to combat vice related crimes within the town of Secaucus, the Secaucus Police Department Anti-Crime Unit arrested the following individuals; at 6:58 p.m., the police arrested a 40-year-old female, Idalmis Diazdiaz of Secaucus, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)] along with a 42-year-old male, Jose Carballosa of Secaucus, NJ for Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Both Diazdiaz and Carballosa were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. At 6:38 p.m., police arrested a 26-year-old female, Laura Bermudez Murcia of Secaucus, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)], Possession of CDS believed to be “Tuci” (pink cocaine, a synthetic hallucinogen) [2C:35-10A(1)] and Money Laundering [2C:21-25B(1)]. Bermudez Murcia was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 7:49 p.m., police arrested a 36-year-old female, Maximina Martinez of Secaucus, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Money Laundering [2C:21-25B(1)]. Martinez was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 9:14 p.m., police arrested a 25 year old female, Yakayra Jimenez Guzman of Union City, NJ for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)]. Jimenez Guzman was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 10:28 p.m., police arrested a 39-year-old female, Lucia Ubierasosa of Secaucus, NJ for Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Money Laundering [2C:21-25A]. Ubierasosa was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody. At 11:16 p.m., police arrested a 31-year-old female, Kellee Chhun of Lowell, MA for Engaging in Prostitution [2C:34-1B(8)] and Promoting Prostitution [2C:34-1B(2)]. Chhun was issued her complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 26 at 9:24 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to a private business in the center of town for a report of an individual sleeping in front of the establishment. Police arrested a 36-year-old male, Jeffrey Im of Fort Lee, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Im was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 27 at 5:42 p.m., Secaucus Police observed a suspicious vehicle parked in the parking lot of the Extended Stay Hotel on Meadowlands Parkway. During the investigation, the police arrested a 44 year old male, Ravi Verma of Jersey City, NJ for Prostitution [2C:34-1.1B(1)]. Mr. Verma was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 27 at 8:43 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Red Lobster located at 700 Plaza Drive on a report of a suspicious individual. During the investigation, the police arrested Im (same man as above) and charged him with Theft of Services [2C:20-8A]. He was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 29 at 10:38 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20-year-old male, Salamn Yaminu of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)] and Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(1)]. The police also arrested a 22 year old male, Abdul Abu of the Bronx, NY for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(1)], Conspiracy [2C:5-2A(2)] and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Both Mr. Yaminu and Mr. Abu were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody.

On Oct. 30 at 8:54 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 49-year-old male, Percy Aguirre of Union City, NJ for Possession of CDS believed to be Methamphetamine [2C:35-10A(1)] and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia [2C:36-2]. Aguirre was issued his complaint summons and was released from police custody.
