SECAUCUS, NJ — Released by Secaucus Police, all of last week's arrests:

On Oct. 3 at 5:18 p.m., Secaucus Police responded to the CVS located at 101 Plaza Centre Rd on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 32 year old male, Patrick Johnsen of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Officers from the Bergen County Sheriff’s Office responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of Mr. Johnsen for transport back to their authority.

On Oct. 4 at 11:39 a.m., Secaucus Police responded to the Harper complex located at 100 Park Plaza Drive in an effort to take into custody 2 individuals whom the police had knowledge had outstanding warrants for their arrest. During the investigation, the police arrested a 27 year old female, Mayelin Fermin of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Spring Lake, NJ with no bail along with a 26 year old male, Andres Aguirre of Secaucus, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Spring Lake, NJ with no bail. Officers from the Spring Lake Police Department responded to Secaucus Police Headquarters and took custody of both Ms. Fermin and Mr. Aguirre for transport back to their agency.

On Oct. 5 at 2:19 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 36 year old male, Stanley Joseph of Newark, NJ for Possession of Burglar Tools [2C:5-5A(1)]. Mr. Joseph was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was released from police custody.

On Oct. 5 at 10:37 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22-year-old male, Jayson Pena of West New York, NJ for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5B(2)], a BB Handgun and Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police. Mr. Pena was also found to have 1 outstanding warrant issued out of Secaucus, NJ in the amount of $500.00 and 1 outstanding warrant issued out of West New York, NJ with no bail. The police also arrested a 28-year-old female, Ashlee Parson of West New York, NJ for Receiving Stolen Property [2C:20-7A]. Mr. Pena was issued his complaint warrant and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail. Ms. Parson was issued her complaint summons along with 5 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 6 at 2:23 a.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 20 year old male, Vicente Roman of Union City, NJ for Unlawful Possession of a Weapon [2C:39-5B(2)], a BB Handgun. Mr. Roman was issued his complaint summons along with 2 motor vehicle summonses and was released from police custody.

On Oct. 6 at 4:54 p.m., during a motor vehicle stop, Secaucus Police arrested a 22 year old male, Luis Torres Carrasco of Union City, NJ for 1 outstanding NCIC warrant issued out of Hudson County Sheriff’s Office with no bail. Mr. Carrasco was issued 2 motor vehicle summonses and was subsequently transported to the Hudson County Jail.

On Oct. 9 at 8:30 a.m., Secaucus Police observed a motor vehicle parked in the area of Schopmann Drive. The police observed the occupant of the motor vehicle to be unconscious and a welfare check of the individual was conducted. During the investigation, the police arrested a 40-year-old male, Euclides Cruz of Secaucus, NJ for Driving While Intoxicated [39:4-50]. Cruz was also charged with Resisting Arrest [2C:29-2A(3)(A)]. Mr. Cruz was issued his complaint summons along with 3 motor vehicle summonses and he was subsequently released to the custody of a responsible adult.
