Secaucus Police On Scene Monday Morning At Aloft Motel

SECAUCUS, NJ — As of 9 a.m. Monday, there was a heavy police presence at Aloft Hotel at 460 Harmon Meadow Boulevard in Secaucus, said Secaucus Police.

Aloft is Secaucus' newest motel and it's the one located by the Walmart and behind Buffalo Wild Wings.

Police were asking the public to avoid the area and said the will provide an update later in the day Monday.

Aloft Secaucus only opened about one year ago.

But there have been multiple arrests at Aloft already, such as when a motel guest there was arrested and charged with identity theft last April. Last May, a woman staying at Aloft said she was sexually assaulted in her motel room by a Scranton, Pennsylvania man. The man was taken into Secaucus Police custody.
