Teen Charged With Selling Hash Oil At Secaucus High School

The Dec. 21 arrest was the result of an investigation by the Secaucus Board of Ed. and police into the boy's alleged drug distribution.

SECAUCUS, NJ — A local 14-year-old Secaucus teen was arrested at Secaucus High School last month and charged with selling marijuana.

According to Secaucus police, this arrest was the result of an ongoing investigation led by the Secaucus Board of Education and the police into the young man's alleged drug distribution at the high school, which is connected to Secaucus Middle School.

The boy was arrested Dec. 21 at 10:49 a.m. by the Secaucus school resource officer, a security officer assigned to patrol both the high school and middle school.

He is facing several charges, including possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and intent to distribute marijuana on school property. According to Secaucus police Capt. Dennis Miller, the boy was selling hash oil to be used in vape pens. The teen was released to his parents after his arrest.
