• Englishtown Man Gets 30 Months in $47.7M Prescription Drug Resale Plot (wrat.com) — A former operations manager at Sewaren-based VRC Medical Services has been sentenced to 30 months in federal prison for helping run a multimillion-dollar prescription drug resale scheme. Prosecutors say he and co-conspirators used doctors’ licenses to obtain cancer and eye medications that were never given to patients but resold through the Sewaren-linked wholesale businesses.
