• 11th seed rolls to upset behind Pittsburgh commit's 4-hitter in N.J. baseball playoffs (nj.com subscription) — South River’s baseball team fell 10-1 at home to 11th-seeded Robbinsville in Wednesday’s Central Jersey Group 2 playoff opener, ending the Rams’ postseason run. Robbinsville’s ace limited South River to four hits, despite a strong day at the plate from Jeremiah Sanchez, and advanced his team to Friday’s quarterfinals.
