2nd South Brunswick Basement Fire This Week
Three people fled the Broadway Road home after the fire broke out.

South Brunswick, NJ - Township firefighters had to respond to their second basement fire in South Brunswick this week.
The most recent fire broke out at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning in the basement of a home at 248 Broadway Road. Monmouth Junction, Kingston and Kendall Park volunteer firefighters responded, reports TAP Into. The cause of the fire was electrical, and although most of the fire was contained to the basement, a small amount had spread to the first floor. Three people fled the home when the fire broke out, and were not injured. Due to a lack of fire hydrants in the area, the Middlesex County Tanker Task Force had to shuttle water from Rowland Park, TAP Into reported.
This comes one day after a basement fire in a home on Culver Road on Monday.
