4 Candidates Running For 3 Seats On East Brunswick BOE

Three Board members have terms expiring in 2021. See who's running for a seat on the Board of Education this November.

EAST BRUNSWICK, NJ — Four candidates are vying for three open seats on the East Brunswick Board of Education in the upcoming November elections, according to the Middlesex County Clerk's office.

There are nine seats on the East Brunswick BOE.

Here are the candidates:

  • Vicki Becker
  • Barbara Reiss
  • Denise Medford
  • Jeffrey Winston

Becker, Reiss, and Winston are incumbents seeking reelection. While Becker is the current Board President, Medford is running under the slogan "For The Kids," and Winston is seeking reelection under the slogan "Class Of 80."

While BOE elections in New Jersey are bi-partisan, the lines are being blurred in Morris County this year, with the GOP backing a few candidates.
