Construction Of 4 New Pickleball Courts Gets Council Nod In South Brunswick
The new courts will be located at Reichler Park. Construction is expected to be completed by the end of 2023.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Pickleball fans, rejoice! Very soon the Township will have its own pickleball courts.
During Tuesday’s regular meeting, South Brunswick Council approved the construction of four new pickleball courts.
These new courts will be located at Reichler Park. The Township already has four courts located at Veteran’s Park, as well as two tennis courts which are lined with an adjustable net for pickleball at Kingsley Park located on Kingsley Road, Kendall Park.

“Pickleball is exceedingly popular and we are pleased to be able to provide more locations which Township residents will be able to utilize when partaking in this sport. These new facilities are a welcome addition to our existing pickleball locations and to our growing diversity of sports facilities located throughout the Township,” said Deputy Mayor Joe Camarota.
“We look forward to continuing to expand our recreational offerings, both passive and active, and to continuing to explore new ways to meet the recreational needs of our citizens. I encourage all residents who enjoy sports and the outdoors, to check out all that we have to offer when it comes to our amenities in South Brunswick Township”

The new courts are expected to be completed by the end of 2023. All courts are open to the public on a first come first serve basis.
Residents using the pickleball courts should be mindful of the amount of time they are on the court with a 1-hour limit if people are waiting.
