Amazon Is Hiring In Middlesex County

Amazon plans to open a fulfillment center this fall in Middlesex County and needs to recruit 500 employees in the coming weeks.

The center will open on Industrial Avenue in Carteret.

According to a news release:

The company is recruiting workers and is urging potential team members to apply now at www.workatamazonfulfillment.com

The company offers competitive wages, benefits that include health insurance, 401(k) with 50 percent match, bonuses, and company stock awards.

Full-time employees also have access to programs such as Career Choice.

Through that program, “the company will pre-pay up to 95 percent of tuition for courses related to in-demand fields, regardless of whether the skills are relevant to a career at Amazon,’’ the news release said.
