NJ Man Fatally Shot In His Home: Report
Sree Aravapalli, 54, of Plainsboro was fatally shot early Tuesday morning, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Authorities are investigating a fatal shooting in Plainsboro that left one person dead, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Fred Tavener of the Plainsboro Police Department said.
On Tuesday morning at around 3:38 a.m., authorities responded to Briardale Court - a neighborhood with large single-family houses - following the report of shots fired. On arrival, officers found Sree Aravapalli, 54, of Plainsboro who sustained multiple gunshot wounds, Ciccone said.
Aravapalli was taken to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead, authorities said.

Public records show that Aravapalli owned the home in the development, dubbed The Crossing at Grovers Mill East, according to NJ.com.
The investigation is active and ongoing. Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call Detective William Atkinson of the Plainsboro Police Department at (609)799-2333 or Detective Paul Kelley of the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office at (732)745-3330.
