Board Renews South Brunswick School Superintendent's Contract
"This is an amazing place and I'm very happy to be able to stay for another five years," Scott Feder said during the Board meeting.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick Board of Education (BOE) voted last week to renew the Superintendent’s contract for the next five years.
During the BOE meeting held on Oct. 27, the Board voted unanimously to approve the contract. Board president Joyce Mehta and Joseph Scaletti were not present during the meeting.
Scott Feder’s current contract runs from Oct. 29, 2019 through June 30, 2024. The new contract begins Dec. 1 through July 1, 2027.

“Very pleased to know that I will end my career in South Brunswick. The contract puts me to a point where I am going to stay for 5 years,” Feder told Board members and the community.
“This is an amazing place and I’m very happy to be able to stay for another five years. I thank this board and the community.”

Under the new contract, Feder would receive a salary of $269,352 for the 2022-2023 school year. After that, he will receive a 3.2 percent increase in salary each year that he remains at the school district.
