Walking in the grass, the fields, and the pesticides

Sondek Park has again failed to properly warn people of chemically treated fields. Too late for my little dog, hopefully he wasn't exposed too much and won't get sick this time.

Well they did it again.

Sondek Park on New Road has been treated with a pesticide like it was last year. They even put out tiny little white markers with a drawing of a person walking with a child and a dog with a big slash across them, a warning that it isn't safe to walk on the grass. The problem is that those few little signs are for the most part in the middle of the playing fields... in order to read them you have to walk across dozens of yards of ground - child and pet in tow - in order to see that you shouldn't be walking across that ground. Am I missing something? Seems to me that any warning about possible pesticide dangers should be posted close to the edges of the fields where they can be heeded, not in the middle of any potentially hazardous field.

Yesterday I took my dog to the fields for a walk, and it wasn't until after at least 10 minutes that we came upon a tiny little pesticide sign that was lying flat on the ground after being blown over. "DON'T WALK HERE" the sign basically said, a bit after the fact. Thanks for the warning.

I get that fields need to be treated, how about next year a sign at the entrance to the park and signs that are placed at the edges of the fields?
