A serious crash shut down a major highway in N.J. on Friday morning, police said.
Route 1 was shut down at Dean’s lane in South Brunswick Friday morning for six hours because of the serious crash, police said.
Portions of the highway had been closed after the crash took place on Route 1 at the intersection of Deans Lane at 5:13 a.m. The crash sent eight people to area hospitals, some with critical injuries.
