Callanetics - Free Intro Class, Aug. 26

Callanetics is a new exercise program coming to the Sand Hills Community Wellness Center on Monday mornings (11:30 am–12:30 pm) starting Sept. 9.  Certified Callanetics instructor and Kendall Park resident Jennifer Manson will offer a FREE, INTRODUCTORY CLASS on Monday, August 26 from 11:30 am-12:30 pm in Room 1 of the Wellness Center, 57 Sand Hills Rd., Kendall Park, NJ

Callanetics is a unique, non-impact body-sculpting/body-toning, and posture-aligning exercise program. It involves gentle stretching, isolating and relaxing of different muscle groups. Applying tiny, precise muscle movements called pulses builds strength and flexibility. The weight of the relaxed body acts as resistance, so the more you relax, the more intense and effective the toning!  “For ages 8-86”, and especially suited for women over 50, Callanetics was specifically designed to accommodate individuals with back and knee problems.
