Carley Wins South Brunswick Mayoral Primary 2022: Unofficial Results
Mayor Charlie Carley will take on Republican nominee Michael Havardansky in November.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Mayor Charlie Carley has emerged as the clear frontrunner for the Democratic party nomination for mayor by a large margin, according to unofficial results from the Middlesex County Board of Elections.
Carley received 81 percent of the votes, with challenger Arthur Robinson bagging 18.81 percent of the votes.
I am gratified that my fellow Democrats have overwhelmingly selected me to lead the party into the November general election. I take their votes seriously - they want me to keep our town safe, they want me to support our first responders, they want top-tier municipal services - and deserve all of that," Carley told Patch in a statement. "I will, and my team will, work every day to make our town a great and happy place."
