For the week of March 21-27, 19 women and 32 men tested positive, with five people being under the age of 18.

Officials have also cautioned residents against relaxing precautionary measures.

“With the number of residents traveling for Spring break or meeting with others from outside their households, we expect our numbers to rise before they decline once again,” officials said.

According to the OEM, 27 cases were reported in the past two days alone.

The presence of COVID-19 variant is also a cause of concern, said officials. They have asked residents to rethink plans involving meeting people from outside their households, avoid crowded areas and travel, and do all they can to reduce the spread of the virus.
