Deans Lane Closed at Rt. 1 Friday Afternoon

South Brunswick, NJ - Update: As of 4:15 p.m. the road has reopened.

A tree branch that fell on wires has shut down Deans Lane at Rt. 1 Friday afternoon, South Brunswick police said.

As of about 3:45 p.m., Deans Lane between Rt. 1 and Blackhorse Lane is closed until further notice. This is a heavily trafficked roadway, especially for the Friday afternoon commute, and drivers are advised to find an alternate route.
