Downed Tree on Melrich Road Causes Power Outage
Traffic signals are out on Rt. 130 at Rt. 32 and Rt. 130 at Friendship Road, police said.
SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - A downed tree on Melrich Road caused a power outage in the area of Rt. 130 near Friendship Road Monday afternoon, South Brunswick police said. About 100 people are currently without electricity.
Traffic signals are out on Rt. 130 at Rt. 32 and Rt. 130 at Friendship Road. Electricity should be restored by 9:30 p.m., PSE&G said.
The outage appears to be the result of a downed tree on power lines on Melrich Road. PSE&G is on scene making repairs, police said.
