Film Screening: "Chihuly Short Cuts"

Wednesday Wisdom: Documentary Film Series

This month, we will show the second film about glass artist Dale Chihuly. This film is titled, "Chihuly Short Cuts" (2004). According to the producer, "Dale Chihuly has spent his life on the move, seeking out innovation and inspiration. This compilation documents a decade of this personal odyssey...an intimate guide through some of his most well-known projects including 'Chihuly Over Venice' and 'Chihuly in the Light of Jerusalem'... Chihuly's passionate mission to explore and push beyond the boundaries of glass never falters." For the Wednesday Wisdom series on the third Wednesday of every month, we are going to continue showing some top rated documentary films - either stand alone or in series. The next film, on June 15, we will show David Attenborough's "Nature's Most Amazing Events." Those that attend these films will have a say into what documentary films might be included as this series continues. Come see some great films on the large screen at the library and let us know what else you might like to see.

Location: Meeting Room A/B.
