"Shaking It To The East" Belly Dance Fundraiser
The Brown Girls Club of New Jersey will host "Shaking It To The East," a belly dance demonstration and lesson event from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday, August 27th as part of a Ladies' Day Out fundraiser.
New York City's Tarik Sultan will demonstrate and teach the art of Raqs Baladi at the Funktion Dance Complex, 4620 U.S. Hwy 1, Suite 6, Monmouth Junction, NJ.
The event also will feature tricky tray raffles of jewelry, women's apparel, DVDs, and more. The event raises funds for Raices Cultural Center in New Brunswick.
