SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Heads up: There will be extra South Brunswick police patrols on the following roads this week, and for the following reasons:

Week of September 15 - September 2, Enforcement Details:

• Location: New Road

Issue: Speeding, Seatbelts and Pedestrian Safety Violations

Times: 6:45-8:30am, 11:30am-12:45pm & 2:45-4:45pm

• Location: Davidson Mill Road

Issue: Speeding, Overweight Vehicles and Careless Driving

Times: 6:15-8:45am, 2:45-5:45pm & 10:45-11:45pm

• Location: Ridge Road /Route 1

Issue: Careless Driving, Improper Turn & Improper Passing

Times: 7:45-8:45am & 3:30-5:30pm

Ongoing Traffic Projects:

Location: Route 522/Georges Rd

Issue: Traffic Signal and Intersection Improvements

Status: Work is Ongoing

Location: Culver Station Development

Issue: Roadway, curbing, sidewalk and storm drain repairs

Status: Intermittent lane closures expected

Location: Friendship Road; Culver Road

Issue: PSE&G- Utility Pole Replacement Project – alternating traffic

Status: Work is ongoing

Location: Promenade Boulevard

Issue: Middlesex County Improvements to Landscaping and Curbing

Status: Single lane traffic in the work zone

Location: Beekman Road

Issue: Catch basin repairs, sidewalks and curbing, milling and paving.

Status: Shoulder closings, lane shifts and alternating traffic as necessary. Road Closure possible
