SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — There will be an enhanced police presence on the following South Brunswick Twp. roads for the week of Sept. 22 - Sept. 28:

Location: Rt. 1 & Major Road/Sandhill Road

Issue: Improper Turning, Obstructing Traffic & Careless Driving

Times: 6:30am-8:30am & 4:30pm-6:30pm

Location: Rt. 522 – Stouts Lane to Ridge Road

Issue: Speeding, Failure to Observe Traffic Signals & Careless Driving

Times: 7:00am-9:00am & 5:00pm-7:00pm

Location: Rt. 130- Distribution Way to Deans Rhode Hall Road

Issue: Careless Driving, Traffic Signals & Improper Passing

Times: 6:30am-8:30am & 4:00pm-7:00pm

Ongoing Traffic Projects in South Brunswick Twp.:

Location: Route 522/Georges Rd

Issue: Traffic Signal and Intersection Improvements

Status: Work is Ongoing

Location: Culver Station Development

Issue: Paving to begin on or about 9/19/19.

Status: Intermittent lane/road closures expected, no parking on roadway

Location: Friendship Road; Culver Road

Issue: PSE&G- Utility Pole Replacement Project – alternating traffic

Status: Work is ongoing Location: Promenade Boulevard

Issue: Middlesex County Improvements to Landscaping and curbing

Status: Expect single lane closures, work continuing.
