Extra South Brunswick Police On These Roads March 4-9

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — While enforcement efforts take place throughout the Township, these areas will receive additional focus. Many of these roads have been selected because South Brunswick police are responding to resident complaints, police said.

For the week of March 4 - March 9, there will be extra South Brunswick police on the following roadways:

Location: Finnegans Lane

Issue: Speeding and Passing School Buses

Times: 7 a.m. - 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. - 5 p.m.

Location: Fresh Ponds Road

Issue: Speeding, cell phone violations and overweight trucks

Times: 8 a.m. - 10 a.m. and 3:30 - 5:30 p.m

Location: Ridge Road (Monmouth Junction)

Issue: Speeding, distracted driving and pedestrian safety

Times: 7 a.m. - 8:30 and 2:15 - 4:15

Location: Heathcote Road

Issue: Speeding and Overweight trucks

Times: 10 a.m. to noon and 4 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
