Free Retreat For Middlesex County Caregivers
It will be Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Forsgate Country Club in Jamesburg. Registration is required by Oct. 25.
JAMESBURG, NJ — Are you caring for a loved one at home? The Middlesex County Department of Community Services, Office of Aging and Disabled Services’ would like to invite you to attend a special retreat for caregivers.
This event is scheduled for Saturday, Nov. 4 from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Forsgate Country Club, 375 Forsgate Drive, in Jamesburg. Registration is free, but required by Oct. 25.
“Being the primary support for a loved one who is vulnerable or who has a disability can be a consuming and sometimes overwhelming experience,” said Freeholder Blanquita B. Valenti, chairwoman of the County’s Community Services Committee. “I encourage all those who may need help or support caring for a loved one to attend.”

Freeholder Director Ronald G. Rios added: “Come share a morning with other caregivers and professionals to discuss common issues, share ideas, and learn more about supportive services.”
