According to the Squad’s coaches, the team enjoyed the competition, by helping other teams with their posters, cheering, and presenting their project to the judges.
For their innovation project, the Dream Squad ideated, designed and built a model of an airborne wind energy (AWE) kite turbine using Legos.
The model could solve the financial and technological problems related to scaling of conventional wind turbines in developing nations, and at the same time increase efficiency.
The Dream Squad was formed by the West Windsor and Plainsboro Service Unit of Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ.
