Girl Shot, 2 Boys Hit By Fleeing Vehicle At Graduation Party

A girl suffered a gunshot wound and two boys were struck by a fleeing vehicle Friday night at a graduation party in Deerfield Township, according to state police.

The incident tool place around 11:40 p.m. at a home on Elm Street, where the party was held. Police said a vehicle collision outside the residence sparked a verbal altercation between two people, leading to gunfire.

'Baby Hitler' Photo In School Yearbook

East Brook Middle School in Paramus is investigating how a baby picture of Nazi leader Adolf Hitler ended up in this year's yearbook, according to a letter from the principal.

Principal Ryan Aupperlee wrote that after students had already received their yearbooks, the school learned the baby pictures section included an infant photo later identified as Hitler's. The school immediately collected the yearbooks to prevent the image from staying in circulation.

School and law enforcement officials are investigating, according to the letter.

Man Sets 2 Vehicles Ablaze

Investigators in Washington Township say a teenager is behind a string of overnight vandalism that included setting two cars ablaze, according to media reports.

Turnersville resident Aiden Logrande, 19, now faces arson, unlawful weapons possession and criminal mischief charges following the Saturday night incidents.

The case began just before 9:42 p.m., when officers were called to Tara Drive over a car fire. Surveillance video from a nearby home reportedly showed a man breaking a vehicle's rear window, dousing the interior with a flammable liquid, then igniting it. As that investigation got underway, a second car fire was called in nearby, NJ.com said.

Armed Robber Steal From Bank In Broad Daylight

Police are searching for an armed man accused of robbing a Morris County bank, prosecutors say.

The robbery was reported around 2 p.m. Saturday at the Chase Bank on Myrtle Avenue in Boonton. Authorities said a man wearing a ski mask, sunglasses, gloves and a suit and tie entered with a pistol, demanded money, and fled with $12,000 in cash.

2 Shot, 1 Dead In NJ City

One man was killed and another was injured in a shooting early Sunday in Jersey City, according to authorities.

Officers responded around 2:30 a.m. to Orient Avenue near Martin Luther King Drive, where they found Jenardo Tejada, 38, of Jersey City, shot. He was taken to Jersey City Medical Center, where he died.

A 45-year-old Jersey City man was found with a gunshot wound nearby on Jackson Square, authorities said.
