Hands-On Fun at NJ Makers Day at Library

From sewing to 3D printing, discover a new skill at the Second Annual NJ Makers Day event on Friday and Saturday, March 18 & 19 at SBPL.

New Jersey Makers Day will be on Friday and Saturday, March 18 & 19 at the South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Jct. Activities will take place throughout the day. A schedule of events is posted inside the Library and at http://www.sbpl.info.
The centerpiece of our 2016 NJ Makers Day event is our new 3D printer, a MakerBot Replicator. Its debut will include demonstrations of how this cutting edge technology can literally create a three-dimensional image out of liquid plastic right before your eyes. Here is a 39-second sneak peek: 3D Printer

Throughout the Library on Friday and Saturday, there will be a wide variety of classes, demos, and workshops for all ages. Children, adults and teens will be able to experience "Maker Culture" themselves by learning: to sew, make colorful pancakes, digital photo editing, 3D artwork, pretzel making, and much, much more!

Made possible by the Friends of the Library.
