High Marks For South Brunswick Schools In NJ QSAC Review
The district received high scores in all five of the key areas of review, Superintendent Scott Feder informed the community.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The South Brunswick School District recently underwent the New Jersey Quality Single Accountability Continuum (NJ QSAC) and earned high marks in all five of the key areas of review.
The review was conducted by the Middlesex County Executive Superintendent’s Office. NJQSAC is the Department of Education's monitoring and district self-evaluation system for public school districts.
During the July 28 Board of Education meeting, Superintendent Scott Feder updated the community on the scores the district received.

A school district must satisfy at least 80 percent of the indicators, Feder said. South Brunswick scored above 80 percent.

“So huge scores, very consistent with what we do each time,” Feder said.
The Superintendent explained that the school district received 88 percent in the instructional program category because the state used standardized test scores that were two years old.
Although the process was a long one, Feder said he was happy with the results. “And we now have a three-year reprieve until we do this again,” he said.
The South Brunswick School District is consistently ranked among the top public school districts in the state and in Middlesex County.
