Holmdel High School made the Niche.com list of the Best Public High Schools in New Jersey.

Holmdel High School is the 50th best public high school in New Jersey, according to ranking published by the website, Niche.com.
Holmdel High School earned an A overall grade and an A for academics. It earned A+ grades for administration and policies, educational outcomes and teachers. It received A- grades for extracurriculars and resources and facilities. It received B+ grades for food and health and safety. The school earned B grades for student culture and diversity, and sports and fitness.
Niche.com ranked more than 14,000 high schools nationwide and in Puerto Rico, based on statistics and opinions from parents and students.

It used government and public data sets, its own proprietary data and responses from more than 280,000 students, recent alumni and parents, according to its website.
“A high ranking indicates that the school is an exceptional academic institution with a diverse set of high-achieving students who rate their experience very highly,’’ the website said.

Another 834 schools, including magnets, charters and online schools, received grades but were not eligible for ranking.
