Children ages 4-10 can earn a limited-edition puzzle by completing five self-guided outdoor activities.

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — Middlesex County is inviting children and families to explore its parks and open spaces through a free Junior Rangers program, a self-guided initiative for children ages 4 to 10 that combines outdoor activities with environmental education.
Participants who complete five activities from the Junior Rangers activity booklet and submit photos as proof will earn the title of Junior Ranger and receive a limited-edition puzzle. Activities include wildlife observation, litter cleanups and outdoor games at any Middlesex County park or open space.
To get started, residents can request a physical activity booklet by mail or download a PDF version at DiscoverMiddlesex.com/JuniorRangers. Completed activities are submitted through an online form at the same address. Participants are also encouraged to share their discoveries on the Middlesex County Junior Rangers Facebook group.
