Honoring Gov. and Mrs. Florio, a Toast to Benefit CASA of Middlesex County

CASA of Middlesex County will honor Gov. and Mrs. Florio at CASA's annual fundraiser. CASA advocates for children in foster care.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Middlesex County will be honoring Former Governor Jim Florio and Mrs. Lucinda Florio at a Toast on May 3, 2015. It is an open house event occurring at Steakhouse 85 in New Brunswick from 11am-3pm. The program will begin at 12:30pm and will include a performance by the New Jersey Youth Chorus. The cost is $100 per ticket. Sponsorships and ad journal entries are also available. Purchases can be made online at www.casaofmiddlesexcounty.org/events.aspx or by sending a check to CASA of Middlesex County at 77 Church Street, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

All proceeds benefit CASA of Middlesex County, a nonprofit that serves to advocate for children living in foster care. CASA recruits, screens, trains and provides ongoing supervision to volunteers who are appointed by a judge to speak for a child’s best interests in court. Ultimately, the advocacy of CASA volunteers helps children living in foster care find safe, permanent, loving homes.
