SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ – The South Brunswick Police Department will be providing parents with free child emergency ID cards.

These ID cards are the size of a credit card and include a photo, thumbprint, physical description and emergency response procedures.

Although these cards are not a valid government identification card, it enables parents to immediately provide authorities with the identifying features of the child during an emergency, when other documents and information might not be readily available, police said.
