Jackknifed Tractor Trailer Closed Rt1 Traffic In South Brunswick

A tractor-trailer tried pulling into the Best Western parking lot and became stuck early Monday morning. Traffic was affected for an hour.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ - On Monday morning, commuters on Route 1 in South Brunswick, were met with slow traffic after a part of the road was shut down due to a jackknifed tractor-trailer.

According to authorities, a tractor-trailer tried pulling into the Best Western parking lot and became stuck. As a result, Route 1 South between Promenade Blvd and Raymond Road was closed for over an hour.

The incident took place around 7 a.m. Monday morning.
