Multiple Bear Cub Sightings in South Brunswick Monday
It's possibly a mother bear and two baby bears, seen in Woodlot Park Monday morning, police said.

South Brunswick, NJ - There have been numerous sightings of two bear cubs and a larger bear in South Brunswick Township, police said Monday afternoon.
The bears have been seen at Woodlot Park (124 New Road), and residents are being asked to avoid the Woodlot Park area at this time. The bears are not posing a risk, police said.
It is important to understand that black bears reside in all 21 counties of New Jersey, police said, and black bears have been seen all over South Brunswick Township this summer and spring: In April, a baby black bear was seen multiple times off Sandhill Road and Welcomes Farm Road and a young black bear, who appeared to be not a cub but a juvenile, was seen four different times over the July 4th weekend, particularly in the area of Ridge Road. It may have been the same bear that wandered into a Ride Road backyard on June 2 and sat down in a woman's driveway eating birdseed before being chased off by her cat.
