Carnival Tent Collapses During Powerful Storm In North Brunswick

A strong storm moved through New Jersey that caused a carnival tent to collapse, and emergency services were on the scene.

A carnival tent collapsed in New Jersey on Thursday as a powerful storm hit the region, according to authorities.

News12 broke the story around 10 p.m. on Thursday, saying two people were hurt in North Brunswick when the tent overturned at the annual Italian American Social Club of North Brunswick carnival.

The tent fell on the two people, who were not seriously injured. The carnival closed shortly after the 8 p.m. incident, according to the report.
