New Assistant Principal Appointed For South Brunswick High School
High school teacher Jeffrey Rumen was appointed during Thursday's Board of Education meeting.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The Board of Education on Thursday approved the appointment of a new assistant principal for South Brunswick High School.
High school teacher Jeffrey Rumen will step into the role left vacant by Michael Scheese who will now be serving as principal of Monmouth Junction Elementary School. More: New Principal Appointed At Elementary School In South Brunswick
During the meeting, Rumen thanked the Board and Superintendent for the confidence they placed in him.

“I'd also be remiss if I didn't thank the many leaders and colleagues at South Brunswick that have played a really important role in my journey to becoming a leader in the education world. For their guidance and support over the last few years, I'm grateful,” Rumen said.
Rumen has been a teacher for 15 years at the high school.

“I'm super excited to start this new journey in this new role as an assistant principal and can't wait to jump in feet first, hopefully on Jan. 2,” Rumen said.
