Part of Route 1 Closed In South Brunswick Due To Downed Wires

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Route 1 is closed from Promenade Boulevard to Raymond Road, both Northbound and Southbound, due to wires down across the roadway, South Brunswick Police said.

Northbound traffic is being diverted down Raymond Road, and Southbound traffic is being diverted down Promenade Boulevard.

Motorists have been asked to plan alternate routes if possible. Expect delays in the area for the next few hours.
