Paving Schedule In South Brunswick Beginning Friday

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Construction work at South Brunswick’s Timber Pond Road has reached Phase II.

Beginning Friday, the contractors, Lucas Brothers Inc., will continue with paving work, weather permitting.

This work will continue through Sept. 6, 2023.

During paving operations, roads will be periodically closed to traffic. Motorists are advised to observe construction signs as posted and directions from Police Traffic Director.

If work is happening near the vicinity of your home, residents should do not park on the street between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m.

On days that there will be no parking, the contractor will provide residents with notification the day before.

As part of the paving process a “tack coat” will be applied to the existing pavement and residents should not walk or drive on the “tack coat”.

Here’s the schedule:

• Sept.1: Eleanor Drive – Dickinson Road to Dickinson Road Intersection. Road will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 4: Hamilton Ct & Eleanor Drive (Dickinson Rd. to Victoria Way). Road will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 5: Musket Drive, Adams Road & Sumter Dr. Road will be closed 7a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sept. 6: Entire length of Dickinson Rd. The road will be closed 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
