SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Were you part of the record-breaking crowd that attended South Brunswick's National Night Out Tuesday?
A record 7,207 people were in attendance at Rowland Park Tuesday night, tweeted South Brunswick police. About 2,500 hot dogs were given out and there were 125 volunteers who helped.

Every year, South Brunswick holds one of the biggest and grandest National Night Out celebrations in the state of New Jersey. Attendees could tour police, fire and EMS trucks, meet local police officers and try on drunk driving goggles. There were 5 bouncy houses, 2 carnival rides, a rock climbing wall and Smokey the Bear was there to talk about fire safety, as was McGruff the Crime Dog.
