Police: Man Robbed Dollar Store In Middlesex County

Police arrested one man who they say robbed a Dollar Tree Store, and they are searching for his accomplice, authorities said.

Police arrested one man who they say robbed a Dollar Tree Store on Milltown Road in North Brunswick, and they are searching for his accomplice, authorities said.

According to a post on the department’s Facebook page:

Around 10 p.m. Monday, two men went to the Dollar Tree Store armed with guns. They robbed the store, then ran away.

As one officer headed to the store, he saw a vehicle driven by a man who appeared to match the description of one of the suspects.

Police stopped the vehicle on Livingston Avenue, recovered a weapon and robbery proceeds, and arrested Tyron Nixon, 27, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Police said the investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to call the North Brunswick Police Detective Bureau at 732-247-0922 ext. 420.
