SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — Patch reported earlier this month that the Wells Fargo Bank on Rt. 27 and New Road was robbed, and now police are offering a reward for information in this crime.
On Monday January 8, 2018 at 9:35 a.m. a man entered the Wells Fargo Bank (3510 Rt. 27) and demanded money from a bank teller. The man did not present a weapon, however, his body language and threats suggested that he may have been armed. He fled from the bank on foot and was last seen entering a vehicle that was parked in the Barret Gardens apartment complex on Rt. 27.
A picture of the suspect is above. The suspect was described as a black male, approximately 6'00", with an athletic build. He was seen wearing a puffy blue winter jacket with a hood, a black face shield that partially covered his face from the nose down, black sweatpants, and dark sneakers.
