Police Search For Bank Robber In South Brunswick

Breaking: Police believe the suspect in this morning's bank robbery at Wells Fargo ran into the nearby woods towards Pyne Road.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ -- A South Brunswick bank was robbed Monday morning, and police are seeking the suspect. According to authorities, the robbery was reported just after 9:30 a.m. at the Wells Fargo Bank on Rt. 27 and New Road.

Authorities say the suspect demanded money from a bank teller, then fled. Police believe he ran into the nearby woods towards Pyne Road.

The suspect is described as being a black male in his late twenties, standing approximately 6"0' tall. He was wearing a black vinyl jacket and a black and blue hooded sweatshirt with a black scarf.
