• South Brunswick Board Approves Merged Negotiations Unit for Principals, Supervisors (tapinto.net) — South Brunswick residents should know the Board of Education has formally merged principals, assistant principals, and instructional supervisors into a single negotiations unit, represented by the South Brunswick Principals and Supervisors Association. Officials say the change shouldn't add costs but will shape how upcoming contract talks are handled and how administrators' differing responsibilities are reflected in future agreements. 
• Girls cross country Fab 50, Sept. 25: New results, new look rankings After Week 4 (nj.com subscription) — South Brunswick cross-country fans will be pleased to see senior Ovi Telavane ranked ninth and junior Natasha Kenny ranked 12th in New Jersey's latest girls Fab 50 list. The statewide rankings highlight standout performances from Week 4 and show South Brunswick athletes competing among the state's elite runners heading into the heart of the season.
