Seniors Visit South Brunswick Police On Random Acts Of Kindness Day
Residents of Brandywine Living created specially inscribed mugs for the officers.

SOUTH BRUNSWICK, NJ — The world celebrated Random Act of Kindness Day on Feb. 17. And seniors from Brandywine Living visited officers from the South Brunswick Police Department for breakfast.
Residents of Brandywine Living at Princeton created specially inscribed mugs filled with biscotti for officers at the police department.
The mugs will be delivered as a surprise to show gratitude for their services to the community. Seniors then shared breakfast with the officers, which included boxes of Joe from Dunkin Donuts, assorted creamers, and the best freshly baked over-stuffed jelly donuts from The Manville Pastry Shop.

"We are so appreciative of the community at Brandywine Living at Princeton for their Random Acts of Kindness," the police department said on Twitter.
The kindness movement was born in 1982 when Berkeley, California, writer and activist Anne Herbert published “Practice Random acts of Kindness and Acts of Senseless Beauty” in CoEvolution Quarterly, a small circulation magazine with an ecological, post-60s bent that covered a diversity of viewpoints and topics.
