Several Minor MVAs Reported Friday Morning in South Brunswick

90-minute delayed opening for South Brunswick school district; snow should stop by 10 a.m.

South Brunswick, NJ - The snowy and slushy conditions we warned you about last night have already caused several motor vehicle accidents in South Brunswick township Friday morning, police report, but all of them have been minor.

The snow started at about 3 a.m. Friday, and is falling longer than expected. It should stop by 10 a.m., police said. Heavy snow is also causing tree branches to fall on wires, and Friendship Road is closed at Rt 130, South Brunswick police tweeted.

There is a 90-minute delayed opening for all South Brunswick schools and police urge caution when you drive. St. Augustine of Canterbury School also has a delayed opening.
