Shikantaza Trio at South Brunswick Jazz Cafe

Shikantaza, a jazz trio that makes music in the tradition of contemporary piano jazz trios like those of Bill Evans and Keith Jarrett, has its third appearance at the South Brunswick Jazz Café on Friday, November 6. The program will feature expressive arrangements of classic and lesser-known material, along with original compositions from their forthcoming album entitled “Retractions.”

Shikantaza is Brandon Lewin on percussion, Bernhard Geiger on acoustic bass, and Doug Miller on piano keyboard.
